HOY ∕ C.Hsueh Architects & Associates, founded in 1986, is an architectural firm that adopts a corporate management structure. In 1998, HOY led the industry in being able to meet ISO standards (Systems & Services Certification and has been an ISO member ever since then. Moreover, HOY has passed the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System certified by SGS Taiwan Ltd since 2010.
HOY’s projects are covered both public and private sectors for wide-range of building types. The works are all with high professional quality, and are role models in Taiwan. The excellent works and cooperated with foreign Master Architects are summarized as bellowed:
- The project Asia-Pacific Financial Plaza (42F) which is an super-high tower won the design award of energy saving by the Ministry of Interior in 1994. And it is also the pioneer of the high-rise office building planning.
- TaiMall was the first Mall in Taiwan since 1999. It is the first shopping center in Taiwan and combines the features of sport, entertainment, leisure facilities, recreation, restaurants, and shopping all in one.
- Taipei Fubon Manor, located in Xinyi District completed in 2003, is the first Residential Building certified and awarded with “Green Building Label” by Ministry of Interior, Taiwan.
- Taiwan High Speed Rail Taichung Station is completed in year 2005. It is the most outstanding and reputable station design in the first stage construction of 6 THSR stations.
- The planning and design of Nankang Software Park for Taipei City Government in 2005 spotlight on designing flexible office spaces and practicing energy-savings in the office building by installing two layers of Low-E glass curtain wall system which resists radiation and provides great insulation.
- Acted as Registered Architect and cooperated with Toyo Ito & Associates Architects(Japan) on designing Fubon High-Rise Residential Building Project (39F) in Taichung, Taiwan.
- Acted as Registered Architect and cooperated with Robert A.M. Stern Architects (RAMSA, USA) on designing a Fubon Land Project: The Dunhua High-Rise Residential Building (46F) in Taipei, Taiwan.
- Acted as Registered Architect and cooperated with Richard Meier & Partners Architects (USA) on designing a Fubon Land Project: The Yang Ma Condominium Tower (41F) in Taichung, Taiwan.
